My Portfolio
The goal of this portfolio is to raise awareness of social issues, racial disparities, diversity, and differences to promote social value.
The Artifacts presented in this portfolio represent leadership & management, the policy process, analysis and critical thinking, public service, and communication.
My experience with incarceration influenced my undying interest in reversing the impact of mass incarceration, raising awareness about implicit biases, promoting rehabilitation, and supporting individuals with co-occurring disorders. The academic training and experience I received as an Honors Living-Learning Community Scholar and a Mountainview Community Scholar at Rutgers University-Newark helped me develop the skills and know-how to support healing among vulnerable populations impacted by societal ills.

Education
My educational background reflects a strong foundation in social work, behavioral health, and public administration. I earned my High School Diploma from Elizabeth High School in 2004. I went on to earn my associate’s degree from Essex County College in 2015, followed by a bachelor’s degree in social work from Rutgers University–Newark in 2019. I later completed a master’s degree in clinical social work with a concentration in Behavioral Health in 2023, and a master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management in 2026. In addition to my academic training, I am a New Jersey State Certified Social Worker and an Alcohol and Drug Counselor Intern (ADC). Together, these educational and professional credentials have strengthened my ability to serve individuals and communities through clinical practice, advocacy, leadership, and systems-level thinking.

Professional Background
I am committed to trauma-informed, person-centered care that supports stability, wellness, and empowerment. I am a clinically trained social work professional with experience in assessment, crisis intervention, care coordination, case management, and connecting individuals and families to needed resources.
